    Glad it was cheap

    Battery life is not as good as my 3rd generation Fire and the graphics are considerably worse. Some functions that were right at your finger tips on the 3rd generation require 2 or 3 steps to get to. Prefer the 3rd, but it plug-in has worn an is beginning to be hard to get it just right so it will charge. Will live with the 7th gen. since it was only $25, but will look for a more user friendly kindle. Update 10/3/18 Been having charging problems for nearly a month now. I thought it was my charger so bought a more powerful one, it charged but slowly. As of 2 days ago it will not charge above 30%. Guess I took a chance by not buying a refurbished one, but thought since it was relatively new it would be good.

    Good for the price, but full of bloatware

    Great for the value, notice 7th generation cannot be rooted and hard to remove bloatware, but for the value it is ok. If you can't deal with the Fire OS ecosystem this may not be for you. Pros : -Cheap -Screen is OK -Can sideload google play apps -Good battery life Cons: -Full of bloatware -Fire OS is like having an advertisement 24/7 on your tablet. -Cannot be rooted, bloatware is hard to remove cannot install Android OS so you're stuck with a tablet that's practicallt an Amazon advert wall. If you want to save some money and don't mind the advertisements, this may be a good fit for you. If you're looking for a clean bloatware free tablet experience, loom somewhere else.

    "Unopened" yet registered

    First, let me say this was a great value and I have enjoyed the Kindle fire and the purchase process was easy and without delay. However, upon opening the Kindle I found it was registered to someone which told me it was not "unopened". This was easy to fix, unregister then re-register, no problem. Description should indicate that it was a previously registered Kindle to better represent it. But, like I said previously there was no problem with it at all.

    Perfect for kids.

    Works great for simple games and videos. Perfect for kids keeps em off the bigger more expensive tablets. When they drop em they hold up well and when they do break they're inexpensive enuf to just replace em with another. This one didn't come with "special offers" so no annoying Amazon ads getting in the way. Great value , hard to beat.
