• Loose or vibrating steering wheel: If your steering column feels loose or vibrates when you are driving at lower speeds and vibrates more the faster you drive, you may need a new bearing assembly.

This noise is usually due to the brake caliper that moves up and down and hits the top of the wheels. This sound indicates that the bearing assembly is broken.

To find your bearing assembly part number, look it up according to the year, make, and model of your vehicle. You can also look on the part itself as the number can usually be found on a sticker on the bearing assembly. If nothing else, you can contact a Toyota dealership and provide staff with your VIN number. They should be able to find your part number.
