The first thing you must do when replacing the front hub assembly is jack the side of the car you’re working on using a floor jack. Once the car is raised and secure, do the following:

1. Remove the lug nuts and the wheel.
2. Remove the bolts that secure the brake caliper.
3. Remove the rotor by sliding it off of the hub. Use a little grease to help if needed.
