The fuel petcock is a part of your Honda motorcycle that controls the flow of gas from the reserve tank located at the bottom of your main fuel tank. This function is used if the main tank in your bike runs out of gas and you need to use your reserve tank to get to more fuel. The reserve fuel tank usually only holds one gallon of gas, so its important to only rely on your motorcycles reserve for emergencies.

The fuel petcock is the part of your motorcycle that closes off the reserve tank from the rest of your Hondas gas supply. There are three main functions of the fuel petcock switch that allows for the following functions on your Goldwing.

• The "on" position is the setting that your Hondas fuel petcock should be set on when riding.
