Isuzu Trooper Taillights

Defend your Troopers position while you drive by clearly declaring your intent to slow or stop to other drivers. The preferred way to broadcast your change in speed loud and clear is with fully functional taillights. With a selection of taillights for Isuzu Trooper, you can find the right replacements for your vehicle.

What types of taillights are there for the Isuzu Trooper?

Beyond your everyday incandescent types, light-emitting diodes, or LEDs, are the main contenders for the title of ultimate taillight illuminator.

  • Incandescent bulbs consist of a glass housing that contains a metallic filament and are rated to last between 1,000 and 2,000 hours. When the filament is electrified, it lights up with a bright and powerful glow.
  • LEDs, on the other hand, make use of semiconductor materials such as gallium arsenide and gallium phosphide to create an incredibly energy-efficient artificial light source. LEDs run cool and remain safe to touch even after being on for hours. It may seem too good to be true, but LED lights are rated to last 50,000 hours, which equates to 5.7 years of nonstop use.
How do you install a taillight assembly for Isuzu Trooper?

Thanks to the intuitive design inherent to the Isuzu Trooper model taillights, it’s easy to remove an old taillight assembly and get started with something new. Only a screwdriver is required, and this simple process takes about 30 minutes to complete. It is recommended that both assemblies be replaced at the same time.

  1. Turn off the engine and open the Troopers rear doors.
  2. Locate the screw on the back side of the taillight assembly and remove it with a Phillips screwdriver.
  3. On the outside of your Isuzu, locate and remove the remaining two screws embedded in the taillight lens. The taillight assembly will now come free.
  4. Pull the taillight assembly away from the vehicle and disengage the electrical harness. Discard the old assembly and position the new assembly in place. Connect the electrical harness to the new assembly.
  5. Insert the new assembly into the cavity and insert the inner and outer screws. Repeat these steps for the opposite side to complete installation.
How do you replace the Isuzu Troopers third brake light?

Required by law in North America, the third brake light informs drivers of tall vehicles like semi-trucks of your decrease in velocity even if your taillights are obscured. Also called the center high mount stop light, this part is easy to replace and requires about 15 minutes of labor.

  1. Turn off your Troopers engine and open the rear doors.
  2. Locate the third brake light at the top of the larger door and remove the two screws on either side with a Phillips screwdriver.
  3. Pull the third brake light assembly away from the vehicle and disconnect the electrical harness. Discard the old third brake light assembly.
  4. Connect the electrical harness to the new assembly and position it into place. Securely insert the two screws to complete installation.
