There are many controls and switches in the interior of your Nissan Rogue that make it a fully functional vehicle and maximize your control over the driving experience. What switches and controls might you need to replace?

The Nissan Rogue has many switches and controls that allow you to have complete control over the features in your vehicle. It is important to replace these switches in the event that one breaks so that you can have a fully functional driving experience in your Rogue.

  • Cruise control: The cruise control feature allows you to set the speed for your Rogue and ride without pressing the pedal. The Rogue has a special cruise feature that will adjust your speed according to the flow of traffic and keep you at a safe distance from the car ahead of you.
  • Climate control: These controls allow you to manage the climate in your Nissan and keep it at the temperature for your comfort level. The Nissan Rogue has separate controls for both the driver and passenger so that both can set their temperature.
  • Door controls: The Rogue has controls on all four doors for the driver and passenger to raise and lower the power windows and lock and unlock the doors. It is easy to replace the switches and controls in your Nissan. Many of the switches on the dashboard and doors can be replaced by popping out the panels, removing the old switches, and inserting new switches.

Replacing the multifunctional switches by your steering wheel are a little more complicated. You will have to remove the steering column and possibly move the airbag in order to replace the switches. Your owners manual for your Nissan Rogue will have instructions for removing the steering column and airbag. You will then replace the switches and reassemble.
